You must find good reason/purpose before going out and trying to achieve/acquire anything you want. I remember how student study through out the nights during the exams days when they have very good reason [like: I have to do it because I don’t want to fail / because I have achieve good grade / because I want to get rid of these books as soon as possible]. Anyways I am not good at giving examples but above quoted sentence say everything you should know.
